[Scope of application]
All environments which use microVIEW-PLUS

[Error message]
Error No.992: Special area information file was not downloaded.

[Cause]
This error message is shown when there is no special area information in the downloaded debug information file.
(Special area information means, for example, ARM/Thumb state information for ARM processor)

[Workaround]
(1)
Make sure that the debug information is contained in the downloaded debug information file.
Also make sure that an option for outputting the debug information is specified when compiling.

(2)
Make sure that the compiler version in-use is supported by microVIEW-PLUS debugger.
You can check it in the manuals of symbol libraries.
The file name of manual of symbol library is C:YDCmicroVIEW-PLUSmanuals***_symlib_notes.pdf as the default.(*** varies depending on the compiler.)

(3)
Make sure that the special area information on the download item is selected when downloading the debug information file.
