[answer]
"Receive ACK" means [Acknowledge](ACK) of CAN protocol.
In a specification of CAN, if a CAN controller receives a message correctly, it overwrites a dominant level in "ACK slot" of CAN frame.

ON : It overwrites on ACK slots of the message which is send by target.

OFF : It does not affect buses because it becomes Read Only and does not overwrite on ACK slots.

[details]
If ACK slots are set as dominant level, a transmitting side is not able to know which node on the CAN bus received data. If you set ACK ON in monitoring communications between node1 and node2 on CAN bus using NETIMPRESS air, CAN frame logger may overwrite ACK slot regardless of receiving CAN frame by Node2 (Receiving side). In this case, Node1(transmitting side) recognizes data had been received and CAN frame is not transmitted again. In this case, Node2 (Receiving side) may not be able to receive it actually.
In this way, If you set Recieve ACK ON, it affects the status of CAN bus and you may not be able to get correct log about actual phenomena on CAN bus.
