Question:Details of the sum value displayed when the execution of the EPR command is completed

The sum value when executing the EPR command or PROGRAM command is the sum value at the time of writing in the first half and the sum value at the second half at the time of verification. However, with the setting of SUM Check Mode, 00 data is filled in the beginning portion, It is output as a fixed value of 32bits.

The calculation method of the sum value is simple addition method ignoring overflow.
With under Rev5.80 of the remote controller (AZ490), the sum value is not displayed when the device function is executed.

The status (SUM = xxxxxxxx) obtained when EPR command is executed with AZ491 has the same format.

Detailed content of sum value at EPR command execution

*1 With the sum check command, only 8 bit data addition 16 bit result calculation method will be supported.
*2 For the sum value of 16-bit data addition, only the buffer memory value is applicable.SUM VERIFY is performed by 8 bit data addition.
*3 In the case of a microcomputer without data read function, the verify is a data retransmission method, so the sum value at verify is the sum value of writer transmit data (buffer memory).
